Remember Me

I just got the news last night that one of my business partners and good friends is going to be the host for our company-wide event next week. This was a very pleasant surprise for me and for the rest of our team. However, he was not surprised because he had been visualizing being on stage at a major event for a long time.

If you want increase your Network Marketing Income by 10 times, visualize exactly what you want and repeat the visualization process every day.

Below are some tips that you can use to help you visualize what you want:

Allow yourself 10 to 20 minutes every day to visualize your goal

It takes time to visualize what you want and you may not be able to see it clearly from the first day. Give your mind time to practice visualizing your goals so that you can get better and the picture of what you want can become clear.

Take physical actions that you associate with your goal

Taking physical actions can really help your visualized goal become real. For example, if you want a new car, sit down in a chair, close your eyes and put your hands on the driving wheel of the car. Taking the physical actions will get you one much closer to having what you want in reality.

Be Specific about your Goal

For example, if your goal is to have $10,000 per month in Network Marketing Income, you should visualize the check for $10,000. You can see yourself holding the check, or cashing the check or going to the store and buying what you want. If you can see, then you are so much closer to actually having it.

Use these three visualization tips and you will find that your Network Marketing Income will grow by 10 times or even 100 times before you know it.

Do you enjoy marketing your business? For start-up businesses, it is common to spend 85 percent of your time marketing. So, if you spend 5 hours per week actually servicing your clients, and you realistically work about 50 hours per week, you should be spending 38 hours per week marketing.

That’s a lot of time for marketing! That’s about 160 hours per month.

If you really don’t like your marketing, then having your own business can get to be a big drag very quickly. What can you do about it?

First, identify and evaluate all of your marketing activities, then prioritize them in order of ‘fun.’ There are probably a lot of marketing activities you actually enjoy, and you don’t even realize they are marketing. Here are some examples:

1. Attending networking events
2. Studying your competitors online
3. Creating content for your website
4. Building relationships with potential strategic alliances – otherwise known as having coffee
5. Sales meetings

Of course, there are many, many more marketing activities you could be doing, and some of them are not as much fun. Also, your idea of fun is probably different than mine, but you get the point.

Anyone who has ever had any kind of job knows that there are always parts of it that you don’t like, and so it is with owning a business. However, there should also always be parts that are terrific, or you should do something else.

After identifying the fun level of the marketing actions you use to get clients, do another analysis. Which ones work the best to get you clients?

Take a look at the activities you don’t really like, but that bring you clients. Figure out why you don’t like them. If it is because you are uncomfortable doing them, like networking, you can learn to do them better. When your confidence level increases, so will your success and your enjoyment.

You have certainly heard that people fear public speaking, and that is a big part of networking. If you can increase your confidence, you will have a leg up on your competition!

Do you fear ‘closing the sale’? Does this fear take all the fun out of the sales meeting for you? This is particularly a problem for women. It is not as difficult as you think it is! Most of the close is actually done throughout the meeting, as you make sure you are the right person for their needs. When you get to the end, ask this question, “How would you like to move forward?” Then, be quiet and wait for an answer. Brilliant, right?

This is not the fix for everything, but it helps. Study sales experts and practice and soon you will really enjoy the sales meetings, whether the prospect says yes or no! In the sales meeting, have the goal be to solve their problems and you will have a lot more fun.

If you really do not enjoy much of anything about your marketing, look around at what else you could be doing. There is no rule that says you can only do the same things your competitors do. See what other professionals in other types of businesses do to get clients and see what fits your industry, your personality and your target market.

Life is short. Have fun or do something else.

Blogging To The Bank Team Really Works!

But who do you do this? Well, the major way you’ll get visitors to see your website (other then using AdWords, which is encouraged as well) is to use some techniques to have search engines send more and more users towards your page, by ranking high in search results for your topics of interest.

Believe it or not this is a technique, better known as search-engine optimization or simply SEO. So here are a bunch of tips that come handy under every amateur or professional optimizer’s belt.

The first thing you need to take care of is the actual source code and layout of your page. This has to be kept as simple as possible. The problem comes when AdSense and the search engines themselves begin to have troubles in extracting the most relevant keywords on your site because of a too complex layout.

Secondly, try to have each one of your pages target only one specific topic. This way it is a lot easier for them to get indexed properly and for the AdSense ads to be consistent with the content of the site itself.

Also, try not to include too many hyperlinks in your page as well. This also means you should try not to use too many AdSense ads on your page either.

If there are certain keywords you wish to target, make sure the word you wish to target is present in the title, in the first paragraphs as well as in the name of the file. While you’re at it you might want to ensure the word springs up in the page’s last paragraphs.

And of course, it’s very important for your content to have original and compelling content. How do you do this? Well the easiest way to do it is to find something you’re really passionate about. That way, providing you give it a lot of effort you’re bound to have a great page quite fast.

If the content you use in your site is in the public domain (which is highly discouraged) make sure that you at least give it an original title, and add an opening and a closing paragraph of your own.

This takes a little while, but if, after waiting, you still can’t find your page near the top, you should try rewriting your title and your first and last paragraphs. It doesn’t take much, often just changing a few words will give you the right results.

And of, course there’s the use of keyword tools that may aid you in finding some good keywords to include on your page that will drive visitors to your site more and more.

So those are about the basic techniques in search engine optimization. You can find a lot of computer tools to aid you in doing this, and of course, Google is a great place to search for this.

In the end, you’ll find that SEO is a complex topic, and entire books have been written on the topic as well. You might find that you have a lot of optimization you need to do in order to get more and more visitors to your site and clicking those precious AdSense banners.

Article marketing, which is also known as article syndication is an internet marketing and website promotion tool that involves posting articles to various publishing sites. The articles are then made available for other marketers or webmasters who wish to republish them on their website or blog while keeping the author’s box intact. This can result to spreading of words about the author over the internet which can make him or her popular to his or her target market.

1. Get a hold of online users’ attention. This is the first step to ensure your success in using this marketing tool. You must know the elements that you can use so people online will notice you. One of the best ways to get people to read your articles is by using striking titles. Your headlines must communicate the gist of your articles and the benefits they can offer to anyone who reads them.

2. Make your first paragraph equally compelling. After you have convinced online users to read your articles through your titles, you must know how to sustain their interest to compel them to read on. This can easily be done by making your first paragraph “meaty” and interesting. Spill in the great information on this part to keep your readers interested.

3. Be consistent. If you want to easily make a name online, you need to make your presence felt. You can do so by consistently submitting your articles on a regular basis.

4. Use striking resource box. The success of your article marketing campaign largely depends on the number of clicks that your resource box receives. That is why, it is of utmost importance that it is powerful and compelling enough to convince online users to click on it.

Are you at a loss on how your mortgage marketing can get a larger number of real estate agent referrals? You are not the only one. It is getting harder for loan officers to convince real estate agents to refer their buyers, not to mention getting them to recommend you to other agents.

How are some loan officers getting such noticeable results? Their secret is consistent – they have loyalty from a handful of realtors. They always make it sound so easy too. “All you have to do is meet a few good realtors and treat them right.” This is tough to do when realtors change lenders as often as they do. So how can you establish this kind of loyalty?

Is your marketing focused on the agent? You may think your mortgage marketing is terrific, but it is probably not focused tightly enough on agents. Your marketing needs to make the very best first impression, and most agents only care how much you can help them solve their problems. If you want agents to send clients your way, you are going to have to refocus on their needs.

Remember that you are in a service business, not a sales business. There is a significant difference between service and sales, and this difference greatly affects how your mortgage marketing should work. You have to understand an agent’s problems before you can offer solutions.

If you are offering a promise of high-quality customer service to real estate agents, then there are two reasons why your message may not be getting through. First, real estate agents hear these kinds of messages all the time. When you are exposed to the same message again and again, the natural inclination is to simply ignore the message.

Second, agents have probably heard this promise from loan officers in the past and it wasn’t delivered. Agents are getting frustrated with the declining professionalism in the industry today, and are less likely to trust loan officers as a result. You may have every intention of honoring your promises, but are still being ignored due to your competition’s behavior.

Great loan officers close loans on time and provide high quality service, and although that’s exactly what an agent wants, it is not enough to make you stand out. So how can you get your services across to them? Your service is not a tangible product, but the aim of good mortgage marketing is to make it tangible in their minds. It is always better to show them than to tell them.

If an agent gets to experience your quality of service firsthand, they are more likely to believe your promise of customer service for their clients. If you had a mortgage marketing system that promoted your service at every step of the process, this would make matters much easier. If you can spend more time on the things you do well, you can make more money and stop stressing out about your marketing strategy.

Is Mobile Monopoly And Mobile Marketing The Next Big Trend?

Some businesses get thousands of visitors on their websites each month but rarely get someone to buy their product or services. Why is that? The Internet is not the same playing field as it is when you are face-to-face.

On the Internet, your first impression is likely to be your only impression. You have approximately three seconds to get a visitor’s attention when he or she comes to your site. In just three seconds, they will decide if you are a good choice for solving their problem. And once they click off your site, you have lost them forever.

You could be the very best in your industry and have something that people desperately need and want but if it doesn’t come across in your copy, no one will buy it online. So how do you get their attention? Here are some general rules for writing marketing copy that will effectively sell you – and not just on the web. Copy is copy and it works just about the same way in your printed materials.

Here are nine secrets for copy writing that will win you customers. These should be applied to your website, Internet marketing and all of your marketing:

  1. Use headlines that include a strong benefit or solve a problem. The headline should address pain or gain. Using a number in your headline can be a plus. Five Secrets to Losing Weight and Eating Your Favorite Foods – is an example. Be sure to address benefits and not features. Features are descriptive about a product or service but do not tell what it does. If you were selling vitamins for instance, features might be soft gel capsules, air tight sealed packaging, standardized ingredients, FDA approved, etc. But the benefit is that you will have great energy, feel great, avoid getting sick and so on. Headlines must interrupt the visitor. He or she must instantly see something that gets their attention.
  2. Use power words in your headline. Use words like easy, simple, secret, powerful, winning, etc. These words have an emotional component. The ONLY reason people buy is because of emotions. They will rationalize why it was a good decision but deep down it is their emotions that get them to buy.
  3. Write in a conversational tone. It has been proven that if you write as if you are talking to someone face-to-face, you are much more likely to build rapport and earn their trust. It is a well known fact that people do business with those they like and trust. Use short and simple sentences that are easy to understand. If you must use a scientific or technical term, be sure to give a simple definition.
  4. Clearly describe the problem. If you are selling financial planning, paint the picture of what could happen if someone does not prepare for their future. Use stories that show how you could be 80 years old and have no place to go because all of your money has run out. The more painful you make it, the more effective it will be. Describing the problem is your opportunity to get the reader to identify with that problem. You want them to see that this indeed relates to them. It must answer the question, “What’s in it for me?” Once you do that, you have them engaged in your message.
  5. Solve the prospect’s problem. Show not only a solution but all the reasons why it is the best solution. This is an opportunity to provide valuable education. It is also your chance to set yourself apart from your competition by relating your unique selling position or USP. Answer the question, “Why should I do business with you and not one of your competitors?”
  6. Answer all objections that a prospect might have. Make a list of all possible objections and answer them in your copy.
  7. Include stories that that illustrate your message. People do not remember facts – they remember the stories. Balance the facts with stories for the greatest effect.
  8. Include testimonials in your copy. Make sure testimonials stand out. Use a box around them and possibly use a different font or colors. A good testimonials will relate what the situation was before using the product or service, their experience with the product/service and what their life is like now because of using that product/service.
  9. Make a clear offer and tell people to order right now. Don’t assume they will buy. You must tell them what to do. Make sure there is a clear and simple path to ordering on your website. Give incentives to order now – you might include bonuses or a special price that is only good for a limited time. Be prepared to do what you say you will do. The fastest way to lose credibility is to continue discounted pricing after the expiration date you published.

Use these nine strategies in your copy writing on your website as well as in your print marketing and Internet marketing, and you will see a tremendous increase in converting your website visitors to customers. Even if they do not buy right away, they are certain to join your list. With proper follow-up, it is just a matter of time before they choose you in business.

Is Mobile Monopoly And Mobile Marketing The Next Big Trend?

We’ve all heard stories about the teenage kid who builds an online marketing empire. Overnight. In his bedroom. In between playing XBox 360 and doing his homework. Or the network marketer who builds a massive organization from zero in just 90 days using the internet. (Funny they never say HOW they did it…they just “showed the plan” more). Like other eager beavers, I entered online marketing with visions of massive opt-in lists in just 30 days…generated for free! It didn’t happen quite that way.

Your web presence builds if you keep at it. Online marketing is absolutely the best way to build your network marketing business for the long term. Not everybody wants to do the old “warm market” thing. Not everyone has a Rolodex of contacts. Marketing MLM online levels the playing field.

Here are a few things I learned in navigating the online marketing jungle.

When it comes to marketing online, remember that the ‘net is like a river. Go with the flow. Things change. HOW you get the word out will change. Bet on it, and don’t get locked into any one method. Some folks use off line advertising and use their website or system just for presenting and training. Others prospect online exclusively. Most do a combination of the two.

Outsourcing (paying someone else) may be very wise. Almost every type of online marketing can be outsourced. Buying leads is a form of outsourcing.

There are some things, like article marketing, blogging, and forums that keep your link alive for years. You can pay to have others write your articles and blog entries – some go as cheap as $8/article. You still have full copyright privileges.

Things like social networking (thousands of sites for that) are basically the same kind of prospecting and meeting people online that you do offline. The only downside to some of these sites, is that it’s you and a zillion other network marketers fishing in the same spot. The communication can devolve into trading opportunity pitches. Still there are hundreds of thousands of forums. Find one you enjoy. Share. Participate. Build relationships and trust. Your customer and distributor base will grow.

Most MLM companies offer replicating websites for their distributors. Most are poorly designed, difficult to navigate and don’t have capture forms. In short, I wouldn’t market my MLM replicating site. Instead I would build a capture or landing page for that replicating site.

What about SEO? Most network marketers rely on replicating sites athat aren’t indexed by the major search engines. Yes, page 1 of Google is the most important piece of real estate in the world for your keyword. Absolutely. So if you can build a good site and get a handle on SEO or pay big bucks to a webmaster, go for it. The key in MLM is duplication. I personally don’t think that teaching SEO to my team is duplicatable. I know several successful online marketers that don’t even rely on SEO as a primary means of driving traffic to their sites. They do some, but it’s not their main focus.

I don’t build my own websites. HTML code fries my little brain. I do build capture pages, blogs and my Squidoo page. Building websites is too time consuming for me. I use replicated marketing systems that handle all of those website details for me. I give up control of content for ease of use and freeing up my time for prospecting.

The name of the game, no matter what you do is this: Build the biggest opt-in list you can. PERIOD. Drive as many of those as you can, on your list to the website of your choice. It is the website’s job to convert that traffic into customers or distributors. That’s it in a nutshell.

The good news is that there are lots and lots of ways to get traffic to your sites. The “bad news” is there is not a universal starting point for everyone. Here are some things you can do, in no specific order. For best results, do as many as you can manage.

1) Article marketing

2) Blogging

3) Social Networking

4) Newspaper ads and other offline advertising

5) Business cards

6) Email marketing (this is the opt-in list)

7) Calling people on the phone
8) PPC (pay-per-click- VERY competitive and $$ if you use Google or Yahoo) but there are other search engines

9) Link exchange

10) Forums

11) Safelists – these come in a variety of forms

12) Traffic exchanges (better for capture pages and freebies like free reports)

13) Decals on your car

14) Buying targeted leads

15) Link submitters (some are good, some are bad).

Note: some directories like DMOZ won’t take ANY network marketing sites or anything related to MLM or any MLM distributor…probably a way around that.

16) Offering a free report in exchange for contact info
17) Even a T-shirt or baseball cap with your URL on it!
18) Viral marketing- someone loves what you do and tells the world about it.

OK where do you start??? Pick just one technique and learn it. Offline advertising directed to your capture page is probably the easiest. Then join a couple of networking sites and forums. Learn to master one technique and then add another. Then another. Pretty soon you will have several avenues that are driving traffic to your sites, and yes, the search engines will pick up your site. Just start somewhere!!!!!

Affiliate marketing is the revenue sharing between
online advertisers (and merchants) and online
salespeople. Compensation and pay is based on
performance measures, normally in the form of clicks,
sales, and registrations.

The advertisers and merchants are normally referred
to as affiliate merchants, and publishers or sales
people are known as affiliates.

The many benefits of affiliate marketing include
the potential for making lots of money. You can
automate a lot of the advertising process and
receive payment only for desired results, which
includes sales, registrations, and clicks.

Even though most merchants will assume some level
of risk with fraud, there is still a level of risk
involved. Once you know what you’re doing with
affiliate marketing, you’ll be on top well before
you know it.

Affiliate marketing has been a contributor to the
rise of many companies online, including Amazon.com.
Amazon.com was one of the first adopters of affiliate
marketing, and now has thousands of affiliate
relationships.

When it comes to making money, affiliate marketing
is in a league of it’s own. You don’t have to
worry about bosses breathing down your neck, and
you are in control of everything you do with
your company and your website.

Affiliate marketing also gives you the chance to
stand behind products you know and love, be
offering links and banners to them on your personal
website. You’ll receive money for each product
purchased that you represent, which is reason
enough to participate.

If you’ve been looking for extra money, affiliate
marketing is the way to go. You can stick with
one merchant or go with as many as you need for
your business. Affilate marketing on the internet
is truly becoming more and more popular – making
now the time for you to get your foot in the
door.

Is Mobile Monopoly And Mobile Marketing The Next Big Trend?

Money generating activities are abundant on the Internet! One of these is the affiliate marketing program. Affiliate marketing is an activity where a person promotes the product of another person simply by displaying the product on his website. This is an attractive way to generate money since the individual need not invest any amount of money for the product. The interested individual won’t even bother with the details of shipping and packing the product. There is also no need to worry about customer complaints or inquiries. All the individual has to do is to sign up with the affiliate marketing program. Joining the program is free of charge. After signing up, the affiliate can now select the products that he wants to promote. The affiliate marketer earns his money through commissions. A commission is paid whenever the affiliate marketer directs a visitor to the merchant’s website and the visitor purchases a product.

As financially attractive as it sounds, many people are still hesitant to join affiliate marketing programs. The major obstacle to their indecision is that these individuals don’t have a website. But, is having a website really required in order to sign up as an affiliate marketer? Having a website would be an advantage for an affiliate marketer. But for the benefit of those who are interested to join affiliate marketing programs but don’t have a website, there are ways to still be able to promote the products.

One strategy is known as the Pay per Click Advertising. If you look closely at the top or at the sides of search engines like Yahoo or Google you might notice a phrase that says “Sponsored listings”. When a visitor clicks on the sponsored listing, the advertiser gets paid for that click. The costs vary from a few cents to a few dollars. The affiliate marketer needs to open an account with Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing or smaller search engines to be able to bid for key words that are related to the products that are being promoted. The affiliate will only pay a fee if a visitor clicks on the advertisement. A daily budget that the affiliate can afford should be set aside. The affiliate should read the rules of affiliate program carefully as some affiliate programs contain certain keywords that are prohibited from being bid on.

Another strategy is called offline promotion. This simply means that the merchant’s products are being promoted by the affiliate offline. Popular methods of offline advertising include the use of classified advertisements, brochures or fliers. Classified ads generally get better sales results since they reach a wider audience than brochures and fliers. Another strategy is known as forum marketing. The affiliate uses forums and online discussions to market affiliate products. Affiliate marketers who regularly participate in chats or forum discussions will find this avenue useful since it is easy to find people who might be interested with the products being promoted. Before using this method, be sure to read the forum rules before posting the products.

Blogging is another method to promote a merchant’s products for affiliate marketers without a website. To get started on a blog, go to blogger.com and sign up for a free blog and you can start your blog right away. Write notes related to the affiliate products you are promoting and remember to add affiliate links to your post. This method is similar to writing and sending an email. And finally you can promote your affiliate products by simply writing an article about it. This is called article marketing. A short article is written about the product you are promoting. Before you end the article, remember to add a resource box with a link to the affiliate program. The article is then submitted to article directories over the Internet where it will get published on other people’s websites.

So you see, not having a website is not a problem. The main advantage of having a website is that it makes affiliate marketing easier.
